Keyboard
- Cmd (⌘) does what Ctrl did on Windows: Cmd+C, Cmd+V, Cmd+Z, Cmd+S.
- Switch input language with Ctrl+Space or the globe (Fn) key. Add Georgian and Russian layouts in Settings → Keyboard.
- Delete a file in Finder with Cmd+Backspace.
Windows and apps
- The red button closes the window; the app keeps running. Quit with Cmd+Q.
- The green button — full screen or tile left/right.
- Switch apps with Cmd+Tab; search everything with Cmd+Space (Spotlight).
- Apps come from the App Store or as a .dmg file: drag the icon into Applications.
Files and USB drives
- Finder is your File Explorer.
- A Mac only reads NTFS drives. For sharing with Windows, format them as exFAT.
- Right-click is a two-finger tap on the trackpad.
